When the tips of the nozzles are worn,  it is necessary to replace them, best practice is to replace the nozzle tips and the flexible spiral hoses with every filter media change. To do so,  loosen the two U-Clamps and replace the nozzle tip including the spiral hose spring part.

When cleaning the filter medium, the position of the nozzle relative to the medium is crucial. Care must be taken that the angle between nozzle and nozzle holder is correctly adjusted to ensure an optimal suction.

If the nozzle spiral hose spring is broken the auto adjustment will no longer function!

Please use only original ERS nozzle hoses which are fully grounded at the factory and are also very wear-resistant. When installing the hoses, make sure that they are firmly attached to the nozzles and the central guide tube.
