What we collect
Information you give us. When you fill in a contact or inquiry form, what you write is sent to us by email. It is not stored on this website — there is no customer database, no user accounts, and nothing kept on the web server. We receive your name, company, email address, telephone number and your message, and we use them to answer you and to follow up on the inquiry. We do not sell, rent or pass them to anyone outside ERS, except where we need a supplier’s help to answer your question.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider’s web server records standard technical data for every visit: IP address, browser and operating system, the pages requested, and the time of the request. This keeps the site running and secure.
Cookies. The site sets a small number of cookies. Necessary cookies make the site work and cannot be switched off. Statistics cookies (Google Analytics) are only set if you agree. External media cookies are only set if you choose to load content from Google Maps or YouTube.
Your cookie choices
Cookie consent on this site is managed by Contao Cookiebar. When you first arrive you can accept or decline each category — required, external media, and statistics — and you can change that decision at any time by reopening the banner from the privacy settings link. If you decline statistics cookies, Google Analytics does not run.
Third parties
Google Analytics — website statistics, only after you consent to statistics cookies.
Google Fonts — typefaces used by the site’s design.
Google Maps — map content, loaded only when you choose to display it.
YouTube — video content, loaded only when you choose to play it.
Facebook, X and LinkedIn — plain links to our profiles. No tracking plugin is embedded in our pages.
Each of these companies has its own privacy policy, which governs what it does with data once it reaches them.
How long we keep things
Because nothing is stored on the website, there is nothing on it to delete. Your inquiry lives in our email system, where it is kept for as long as we have a business relationship with you and for as long afterwards as our record-keeping and tax obligations require. Technical server logs are held briefly by our hosting provider and then overwritten. Analytics data is retained under the setting configured in Google Analytics.
Your rights
Write to info@engineeredrecycling.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it, subject to any records we are legally required to keep.
If you are a California resident, you may request the categories of personal information we have collected about you, request deletion, and ask us to correct inaccurate information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not discriminate against anyone who exercises these rights.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and you may lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
Children
This is an industrial equipment website. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection, and because no inquiry data is stored on it there is nothing on the website for an attacker to take. Access to the email that receives inquiries is limited to the ERS staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of data while it travels across the internet.
Links to other sites
Where we link to a supplier, partner or industry body, that site’s own privacy policy applies once you leave ours. We do not control what they collect.
Changes
If this policy changes we will post the new version here and update the date below.
Effective 8 October 2026.
