Departing from conventional options in the marketplace, ERS has modernized dust control technology through the use of two defining features: the Balancing Fan and CCM® Filter.

As dust enters the system through ERS hoods and ductwork, the Balancing Fan neutralizes pressure fluctuations and ensures consistent airflow across the entire system. This allows the system to operate using only the horsepower necessary—reducing energy consumption and stabilizing performance.

The airborne dust is pneumatically conveyed to the CCM® Filter, which features rotating and oscillating suction nozzles. These nozzles continuously vacuum dust from the filter media every 2–3 minutes, maintaining low pressure loss and high filtration efficiency. The collected dust is discharged into a high-efficiency cyclone and compacted into dust pucks, which can be disposed of or reintegrated into the waste stream.

Each ERS system is compliant with workplace safety, health, and fire protection guidelines, and is custom-designed to meet the demands of today’s high-speed converting environments.
