Atlanta, GA — As part of its ongoing collaboration with Taurus, Engineered Recycling Systems (ERS) sent members of its team to Daverio, Italy this week to spend time directly at the Taurus manufacturing facility. The visit gives ERS a closer, hands-on look at Taurus equipment — from design and fabrication through final assembly — so the team can bring even deeper product knowledge back to Taurus customers here in the USA.
Pictured above, ERS team members stand alongside a 1,200-tonne track-mounted shear on the Taurus factory floor — one of the heavy-duty machines built to handle the toughest scrap processing conditions, from demolition scrap and heavy plate to end-of-life vehicles.
As the exclusive North American distributor for Taurus, ERS has been expanding its ability to support the full Taurus lineup — including inclined shears, preshredders, shear balers, and hammermills — with the sales, service, and technical expertise customers expect. Time spent on the ground in Italy strengthens that support, giving the ERS team firsthand insight into the engineering and technology behind every Taurus machine.
"Visits like this make a real difference for our customers," said [Name/Title]. "The more our team understands about how these machines are built, the better we can support them once they're out in the field."
ERS will continue to build on this collaboration with Taurus to bring proven European-engineered scrap processing equipment to demolition contractors and scrap processors across North America.
