SCRAP PROCESSING THAT COMES TO YOU

MOBILE TAURUS SHEAR BALERS FOR ON-SITE OPERATIONS

Scrap processors and demolition contractors increasingly need equipment that can go where the material is, instead of trucking material to a fixed plant. ERS, the exclusive U.S. distributor and technical service hub for TAURUS, now brings that capability to American operators through three mobile and transportable machines: HIRU, MIZAR, and ELLE.

HIRU is a self-propelled, tracked shear baler — instead of scrap being brought to a stationary shear, HIRU moves itself directly to the material. It delivers up to 1,300 tons of cutting force, a 220-ton clamp, and a 7,200mm box length. HIRU builds safety into its structure rather than relying on operator judgment: ARD defines and constrains its operating position and turning radius, while DAS (Drive Assistance Sensor) continuously monitors people and obstacles in the work area, automatically slowing or stopping the machine if something enters the danger zone.

MIZAR delivers up to 200 tons of compression force and bales up to 1000×600mm. Its solid tank-type body needs no foundation — transported roll-on/roll-off and simply set down to operate. Particularly suited to light ferrous scrap, end-of-life vehicles, white goods, and collected scrap.

ELLE is built for operators who move their baler frequently or run it as rental equipment. Four onboard lifting cylinders let it self-load and unload from a transport vehicle up to 1,000 tons of cutting force with minimal setup time between jobs.

If your operation processes scrap across multiple sites, handles demolition material, or needs processing capacity without the cost of a fixed installation, ERS's technical team can help match HIRU, MIZAR, or ELLE to your material stream and jobsite conditions.
